The IEWS Story: Born Over Chai and A Shared Mission
It all began the way the best ideas do…with a group of women, steaming cups of chai, and minds full of possibility.
We were sitting together one afternoon, sharing stories about our journeys between India and Estonia, when the conversation turned to something we'd all been feeling: how wonderful it would be to create spaces where women from both cultures could truly connect.
Not just meet, but build genuine sõprus – friendship that bridges continents and celebrates what makes each of us unique.
Around that table sat women from completely different worlds; a lawyer, an interior designer, a marketer, a businesswoman, a dancer, each bringing our own expertise and perspective. Yet despite our different career paths and professional languages, we discovered we were all dreaming the same dream: creating meaningful connections between our communities.
That cozy chai session sparked something beautiful.
We found ourselves brainstorming late into the evening, each contributing from our unique strengths; legal insights, creative vision, marketing wisdom, business strategy….all flowing together toward one shared purpose.
The ideas came as freely as the tea we kept refilling.
Together, we dreamed up our mission and vision, tossing around names and possibilities until everything clicked.
We knew we wanted to form an MTU that would bring the warmth of Indian hospitality together with Estonian sõprus – because at its heart, that's what this is all about: friendship that transcends borders.
From that simple gathering of women with different professions but identical hearts came IEWS – proof that when diverse talents unite around a common dream, magic happens.
Because the best communities aren't built in boardrooms, they're born over shared cups of chai.
