Bansuri, tabla, and devotional song from three musicians steeped in India's classical traditions. A journey through Rajasthan's deserts and Vrindavan's temples, told in ancient ragas.
Saffron Sounds is a group born from a shared love of Indian music, made up of Kadi, Krista Citra, and Arno. Krista Citra has studied under Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia for over twenty years at the Vrindavan Gurukul in Mumbai, Arno has learned the art of tabla from both Nepali and Indian masters, and Kadi has studied bhajans in the temples of Vrindavan and Bengal. Together, their music journeys through the deserts of Rajasthan, the temples of Vrindavan, and Indian villages, following the paths of ancient ragas.
