Authentic Estonian folk dance and song, carried by a tradition over 50 years strong, performed in national costumes true to their historical roots.

Founded in 1969, the Estonian Folklore Society Leigarid began with a clear mission: to bring authentic Estonian folklore to life for visitors at the Estonian Open Air Museum. Today the society has over 400 members across youth, adult, children's, and senior groups, learning dances, songs, and music collected from folklore traditions all across Estonia. Their national costumes are handmade replicas based on centuries-old sources, each representing a different Estonian region. With more than 5,000 performances behind them, Leigarid has carried Estonian folk culture to stages across Europe, the USA, Japan, and beyond.
