Estonian folklore songs and games for raising children with Kadri Mägi and Merike Taza

Workshop slots

13:00 - 13:45

15:00 - 15:45

Sing and play traditional Estonian songs and games that were once used to nurture children's growth.

In Estonian folklore, songs and games were an inseparable part of raising children right from the cradle. Rather than being mere entertainment, they carried deep practical, pedagogical, and emotional value. Through rhythm, movement, and voice, children were passed their first life wisdoms, their physical bodies were developed, and their bond with the family was strengthened.

In this workshop, you have the chance to sing along, play games, and experience how traditions are passed down through shared activities.

The songs and games will be led by Kadri Mägi and Merike Taza.

Space is limited. Register now to secure your spot.
